Welcome & Welcome back!!
So much has happened since my last entry. Lots of new content on the way, as well as some never seen before photos that I’ve taken over the last couple of years, that I forgot I took lol.
But today’s post is from a recent adventure that my family took, Sunday for Mother’s Day. We went to BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham, Robbinsville, NJ. I’ve passed by many times en route to other place along the NJ Turnpike, and was curious about and finally visited and decided to photograph it. What a spectacular spiritual place, from the intricate details outside and inside of the temple (no photos allowed), which were crafted and carved in India, then transported in pieces, and finally assembled by a community of volunteers. You would think we’d flown to India for the day, because I felt transported physically and spiritually while there. I wanted to capture some of the exquisite details and the landscape.
