the Paducah, KY experience

I had the opportunity to reconnect with my other creative space of filmmaking over the summer. My friend Stephen Stanley ask if I wanted to work on a film he’s producing, Ganymede, and principal photography would be on location in Paducah, KY. I’ve never been to Kentucky before and the only two things that come to mind about it were, Kentucky Fried Chicken and the Kentucky Derby. Paducah was a quaint little town to spend a little over a month in. These photos were taken on my very last day right before I left town, because that was the only time I had to take out my camera lol.

It was a great experience working on a narrative film production again; it had been over ten years. The cast and crew were a great, diverse group of people to work with; it was also a great opportunity to work with my friends Stephen and Amanda [the Gaffer], again too.
