Happy Birthday Dad

Today, I’m honoring what would have been my Dad’s 70th Birthday.

Although music was his first love, he ventured into other creative pursuits occasionally. I found this photo in my family photo albums. 

It’s a reminder to me to always be a student and open to other creative pursuits to enhance my growth as an artist, something my Dad was no stranger to. Sometimes these other paths are short or may take a lifetime. I’d like to think that I’m continuing his photographic journey and building my own legacy too. My Dad was/is my primal example of what discipline, dedication, passion, and pure love for whatever you pursue, and what happens when you do the work to make it your reality. But, my Dad was a natural at manifestation. 

I salute and honor my “Ronald”, Happy Birthday, I miss you deeply. ❤️🤲🏾
